Week 1 for Brent and Lauren

Brent and Lauren introduce themselves, and their dog Charlie, as they get started on the Couples Challenge.

They’ve been on slow carb for a couple of weeks, and have seen their first positive results. Brent had some trouble giving up snacks, at first, but doesn’t have hunger between meals now.

Their motivation came from taking a long term view of their lives, and looking at their current diet. They saw that if they continued adding a few pounds a year, that these would add up over the next 5 and 10 years. So they changed their path, and are aiming at fat loss, increased water consumption, lower body fat and a healthier diet. These goals will mean the start of a healthier life, into the future.
