I want to lose 100 lbs. of body fat, and through exercise gain muscle mass and get a general sense of fitness. I don't have a specific goal for muscle gain at this point but I want to incorporate more to that goal throughout my weight loss with further research. I have been looking into different fitness goals and right now I am toying with the idea of a marathon and/or a century bike ride!
What would achieving your goals mean to you?
I have been overweight since high school, and gradually keep getting further and further in the red. When I got on the scale for the first time in a couple of years I saw that I was about to break 300 lbs! I am on daily medication for acid reflux and I have to sleep with a CPAP mask. I want to have the best chance at alleviating some of these issues and be able to be fully active with my three young kids. At the rate that I was going, I wouldn't be able to play catch with them much less go on a bike ride! I am very excited about 4HB and using it to make a better future for myself and my family.


My long term goal is to lose 75 lbs, lower my cholesterol and gain leaner more toned muscles. I want to learn more about how to exercise properly to get the most out of what I do.
What would achieving your goals mean to you?
I have struggled with my size, and weight loss for the last 10 years, I am done yo-yo diets and have lost very little weight but have gained with each pregnancy (3 total). It would be so awesome to be able to fit into cute clothes, and to be at a much healthier place so that I can do normal activities with my children. I am very excited about teaming up with my husband toward a similar goal, and having us both focus on living a healthier lifestyle.
